Barrier terminal blocks are PCB or chassis mount connection points for securing two or more wires to a circuit or power bus. They consist of screw, quick connect, solder tab, turret, wire wrap or threaded stud positions arranged in a continuous strip.
Barrier Terminal Blocks are made of highimpact, break-resistant thermoplastic molding with integrally mounted
Terminal blocks are used to secure and/or terminate wires and, in their simplest form, consist of several individual terminals arranged in a long strip. Terminals are useful for connecting wiring to a ground or, in the case of electrical power, for connecting electrical switches and outlets to the mains.
Terminal Blocks are commonly used to connect a chassis ground, such as on a record player or surge protector. Most public address systems in buildings also use them for speakers, and sometimes for other outputs and inputs. Alarm systems and building sensor and control systems have traditionally used large numbers of screw terminations.
